Zinc plating

Zinc plating clear

Electro-galvanisation clear is also referred to as “bright passivation” and “blue passivation”. The blue passivation of steel offers good corrosion protection and a beautiful decorative finish to the piece.

Blue passivation is also used as a pre-treatment for painting, improving the corrosion properties and the adhesion of the paint. Blue passivation is glossy, smooth and bright in colour.

The pieces to be coated are treated in an electrolytic process. The treatment is done by rack or barrel plating methods in automated lines. The thickness of the coating can be measured with an X-ray machine. A separate post dip can be applied to the pieces to further improve corrosion protection. Blue passivation is RoHs approved.

Maximum size of the piece to be coated

  • maximum length 2750 mm
  • maximum width 750 mm
  • maximum height 1150 mm
  • maximum weight 100 kg

  • Standard

    SFS-EN ISO 2081

    Zinc plating yellow

Electro-galvanisation yellow is also referred to as “yellow passivation”. Yellow passivation of steel offers good corrosion protection and a beautiful decorative finish to the piece.

Yellow passivation is also used as a pre-treatment for painting, improving the corrosion properties and the adhesion of the paint. Yellow passivation is shiny, smooth and yellow in colour. The pieces to be coated are treated in an electrolytic process. The treatment is done by rack or barrel plating methods in automated lines.

The thickness of the coating can be measured with an X-ray machine. A separate post dip can be applied to the pieces to further improve corrosion protection. Yellow passivation is RoHs approved.

    Zinc plating black

Electro-galvanisation is also called “black passivation”. Black passivation of steel offers good corrosion protection and a beautiful decorative finish to the piece. Black passivation is shiny, smooth and black in colour.

The pieces to be coated are treated in an electrolytic process. The treatment is done by rack or barrel plating methods in automated lines.

The thickness of the coating can be measured with an X-ray machine. A separate post dip can be applied to the pieces to further improve corrosion protection. Black passivation is RoHs approved.

  • maximum length 650 mm
  • maximum width 200 mm
  • maximum height 400 mm
  • maximum weight 25 kg

  • Standard
